On October 31st, I made my faithful return to the Las Vegas Convention Center to the 2023 SEMA Show, which would be my 13th consecutive SEMA Show (SEMA 360 better known as virtual SEMA 2020 doesn't count.)

One week after the Midwest Fest weekend was the 2023 Whip Addict Car Show. Held at the Home Depot Backyard in Downtown Atlanta, I love coming to this particular show because of the location.

Last year, I said to myself that Midwest Fest is my third favorite car show. It's kind of hard to beat my two favorite car shows (SEMA and the New York Auto Show), but Midwest Fest rightfully earned its spot on my list of my favorite car shows. Remember I'm only biased towards most things New York and if NYIAS didn't take place in NY, Midwest Fest would be in the #2 spot.

On August 26th, I attended my first California Classic Car Show in Sacramento, CA. Not only was this my first time attending the California Classic, but this was my first time in Northern California. I was so excited until I was met with the worst surprise ever.

I know I'm against first annual car shows, but hear me out... this wasn't a true first annual show. On July 15th, I attended the King of Carolina Car Show in Lancaster, SC (but it can be considered metro Charlotte since it's only 40 minutes outside the city).

On a very hot June 17th, 2023 (more details on that later), a wholesome crowd gathered at the Atlanta Expo Center South for the 2023 Certified Summer Car Show. Weather and the Certified Summer car show is like oil and water, but at least it didn't rain.

Right after (and I do mean right after) the Rick Ross Car Show, Official Street Whipz' held their annual King of the South weekend. But in all fairness, the date for the King of the South show was announced/promoted months before the Rick Ross Car Show date.

After the success of last year's show, Rick Ross decided to do it again. On June 3rd, 2023, the second annual Rick Ross Car Show went off as flawlessly as I could tell... The controversy leading up to the show was a lot. A whole lot. Let's just refer to it as drama filled (remember I'm an impartial observer that loves a good car show).

On April 26th, the Stuntworld guys held their famous Stuntfest weekend. The weekend goes as follows: Wednesday and Thursday usually involves meeting up at a club/lounge/sports bar. Friday is a meetup prior to going to a club.... which means the first three days, I was no where to be found. But this year had a bit of a plot twist. I emerged Saturday, April 29th, for their block party because it's always a great time.

After the New York Auto Show, I took a trip to Broward County (county north of Miami-Dade County) for Nava's Easter Fest. This show has been on my radar for awhile but because I'm normally at home for Easter, I had to do more planning than usual in order to travel to both shows.

On April 5th and 6th, I returned home to cover the 2023 New York International Auto Show. Held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Midtown Manhattan, this is one of the shows that I hold near and dear to my heart because it's the closest auto show to my hometown, which is located on Long Island.
