Last week, I made my triumphant return to Las Vegas for the annual SEMA Show. No matter what I may be going through, I always make sure that I go to SEMA. SEMA is like a bit of fresh air for me. I get to see cars that are customized, and not thrown together. Projects that people put their heart into, and not create crappy work. It doesn't matter if you like the customizations or not, the important thing is that it's done and it's done correctly.
This post is dedicated to my first day. As soon as I got off the plane, I got my rental car (I had a Mazda 6. First time driving a Mazda at that, but Nas sounded great coming out of the speakers.), and headed straight to the Las Vegas Convention Center. I didn't go to the hotel to change, I went right to SEMA, and went straight to work. Bypassing the hotel, I didn't get to freshen up, so I went inside to get my pass, and spent the rest of the time outside. If you've never been to SEMA, the outside of the convention center is FULL of cars. And you know me, I love a customized car.
P.S. Oddly enough, the company that had the most presence to me was Forgiato. This was almost Forgiatofest... the Vegas version. There were A LOT of cars wearing Forgiatos. A whole lot...

Forgiato showed off some of their grills as well, and this grill has the hidden headlights, but if you look closely on the grill, there's LCD lights that you can attempt to use at night. I need headlights, not small LCD lights. My eyesight is bad, ironically I take great photos.

Confession- the Platinum Motorsport brothers were there, and I really wanted to go up to them to get a photo of them. Honestly, it's harder for me to go up to people and initate conversation, rather than them come up to me. Maybe next year I won't be chicken. The last famous person that I was nervous around was Andy Cohen and he's a total sweetheart. I felt stupid being nervous for no reason. But they did bring this...

check out Bernie's gallery here. Day 2 and 3 has less photos because I started networking those days. I didn't network on the first day, because I was a sweaty mess. I know guys like a lightly sweaty girl, but I'm the type of chick who hates sweating.
Also... I'm sick of the newer model Chevy Camaros. And SEMA confirmed that thought for me. Camaros are out, and I have to make my prediction of the new car that everyone has to have.
