What Was Jaguar Thinking?

Apr 18, 2011

Just when they were going so well and released a car that I put on my radar (Jaguar XJL Supercharged) as well a concept car that I'm crossing my fingers and eyes over (Jaguar XE, the same car that I need in my life), they pull some crappy customization feature like this...

Two posts ago, I featured that the new 2012 Jaguar XKR-S will be making his appearance at the New York Auto Show. Well, Jaguar decided to make the XKR 75, which is the 75th anniversary edition of the XKR, have a different material for the interior.

Yes, they used plaid...

A lot of plaid...

Too much plaid... I haven't seen this much plaid since I went to a all girls' Catholic School in New York. I'm eccentric as they come, I'm all for being an individual and standing out, but if you do that, make sure it at least looks good. Shame on Jaguar Italy and Alcantara Interiors for this. I rather see the pattern from the Partridge Family bus as a vehicle interior...

P.S. Is it me, or are these photos out of focus? My photographer's eye kicked in, and these photos are out of focus.
