Bernie's Favorite: The Best Customized Vehicle That Unique Autosports Has Ever Done

May 6, 2010

Don't judge...

Well, it's not a car, it's not an SUV, it's more like a trailer. And it belongs to no other than Pamela Anderson. Again, I say... don't judge.

Sometime in 2006, Pam approached Will Castro and Unique Autosports to customize her Love-Stream trailer. Will took the challenge, there was some drama along the way (as shown in the complete episode of Unique Whips), and they completed it. It's a 2001 Airstream that was given to her by, you guessed it, Hugh Hefner, to be used as a dressing room on Baywatch.

The exterior is painted a pearlized white, with an awning, sitting on Pirelli Tires (of course), with the badging saying "Pam's Love-Stream". The most magical part is the interior...

She wanted it to have a 70's feel. With that in mind, there's the ultra shag carpet, white faux leather furniture and walls, mirrored ceilings, a satellite hook-up, Internet, the latest in gaming accessories, flat screen TV's, and external and internal audio and video, disco balls...

a white-on-white round vibrating bed and a pole that happens to light up.

If you own something like this, then why stay in a hotel... If I had something like this, I would not need to stay in a hotel. Maybe I should look into that. If I were to change it to Bernie's standards, I would not use white shag carpet, instead, I would have BLACK shag carpet, Black furniture and bed, no disco balls, and not have a vibrating bed with a pole in the middle.

As of December 2008, it was auctioned off, so she doesn't still own it.

And again I ask, stop judging me.

Diddy may have been on to something...

May 5, 2010

(I went with this photo because do you know how long it would take to dig through the 9 billion photos of Sean Combs just to find one that Jonathan Mannion took. So I went with the one where Puff has on a Yankees jersey.)

Remember when Puffy I mean Diddy, (I still call him Puffy) said "Lamborghini trucks, y’all ain’t even seen it yet..." in the "Oh Let's Do It" (Remix). At first, different blogs were like "Diddy's lying, there's no such thing". That's why you'se do a little digging.

I don't think Puffy's lying and here's why. You have to remember that Sean Combs has been internationally known for over 10 years. He could have an "in" with the Lamborghini factory in Italy and have one specially created for him. You never know, and Puffy does have power.

Let's go back in Lamborghini's history. There has been a Lambo truck, but alas it looks horrible. It looks like the Original Hummer, like the H1. If you don't believe me, look for yourself.

Bam!!! For all the money that Lambos cost, this could stand to look a lot better. But if you want to read more about it, go to Lambo Truck at German Car Blog.com

I know Puffy's a tastemaker and all, and I'm hoping he didn't get what I showed above. However, since I did my digging, I found a pretty Lambo truck, that LOOKS MODERN!!!!

Like Lil' Duval says "Small Picture Cute".

Here's another photo. I like the white one better...

Puffy, I know you don't care about what I think, but aim for the white one. And if you don't think Puffy can't pull it off, I'm saying stay tuned.

Bernie's Favorite: Bernie's Old School Pick

May 4, 2010

If I'm gonna go Old School, I'm gonna really go Old School. If I had my choice of any Old School vehicle, I'm going to go with a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Convertible.

(I know the people in the background look familiar)

The Star Chief has been in production from 1954-1966, but between '54 and '57, it's was Pontiac's prestigious model.

The limited specs of the Star Chief goes as follows, V-8 Engine with 180 horsepower with the top speed being 90 mph.

Now of all vehicles, why a Pontiac Star Chief. Some hardcore Dukes of Hazzard fans went out and purchased a 1969 Charger and named it "General Lee", or maybe purchased a newer one and renamed it "General Lee 2.0". The real reason why I want one because in 1955, the Pontiac Star Chief was the vehicle that was used when Ricky, Lucy, Fred, and Ethel drove across country in on "I Love Lucy", in which "I Love Lucy" is my all time favorite show.

Of course, if I were to get mine, I would get it restored, but keep it's old school quality to it. No 22-inch rims, no Strut Grille, no 15 inch subwoofers and three amps. Keep the thick whitewalls and the 13 inch wheels. The most I would do is add a CD player or a aux jack for an iPod. Picturing me rolling down the street in a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Convertible blasting Jadakiss. Now that's how I would roll. **Insert Jadakiss laugh here**

Tiny and Monica Better Stop By Their Neighborhood Porsche Dealership...

So after less than a year in production, all of the Porsche Panameras have been recalled. It's not as serious as Toyota's recalls, but it's still serious.

Porsche said all 11,300 Panameras would be brought to the mechanic due to faulty seatbelt mounts...

Hey Tiny, if you want to boost the power of your Panamera, something new has come out. Hennessey has come out with a performance package which consists of bigger turbochargers and intercoolers, sport exhaust system, high performance air intake system and some software upgrades for the engine’s ECU.

That previous sentence just meant that once the package is installed onto the car, it bumps the performance form the standard 500 horsepower up to a 800 horsepower.

Please note that if you go for this, I am not held responsible for all potential speeding tickets. Thank you, and good night...

P.S. 2010 is the year of the Automotive Recalls. When GMC has them, then I'll be scared.
