Instagram Shot of the Day
Mar 13, 2013
Today's shot of the day comes from MC Customs out of Miami. Although there are no cars in the photo, but technically, I'm still on topic because the owner of a customization shop is in the photo.
You know I'll find a way to get Robinson Cano on here. But in case you didn't appreciate my moment, my second favorite pic comes from Rockstarr Motorsports...
And you know I love a blacked out vehicle, even though that body kit is a little horrendous. Body kits and X5s...
Well.... You can follow the following pages on Instagram: MC Customs @MCCustomsMiami, Robinson Cano @RobinsonCano, Rockstarr Motorsports @RockstarrMotorsports, and of course Bernie @CarShowBernie.

Robinson Cano's Home Run Derby Jeep is now Done!!!!
Oct 14, 2011
MC Customs in Miami, finished the Home Run Derby Jeep, belonging to my crush, Robinson Cano, of the heartbreaking New York Yankees. (Side note: I said heartbreaking because they finished number one in the entire AL division, yet they were taking out by the sorry Detroit Tigers. I was PISSED, but you know what? I don't plan on removing my New York Yankees tattoo, nor will I remove them from my heart. I love them, even though they (mainly A-Rod) made me upset.).
Unlike most of Cano's customized vehicles that I've featured, this will be a DR vehicle. Meaning he's sending over to the Dominican Republic- his native country and where you can catch him during the off season. My guess is that the reason why this is doing to the Dominican Republic instead of New Jersey, because if you paid attention to the Home Run Derby, the one who pitched to him, and helped him win was none other than his Dad, Jose Cano, who once played in the MLB, and Cano's parents still reside in the DR.
(He looks just like his Mommy)
Before, I talked about it while Mc Customs was working on it, and here is the finished product...
The Jeep came out great. It's cute, but not as cute as the owner. Just one more photo of Robinson Cano, I promise that it would be the last one... for this post.
Coming soon: Robinson Cano's Home Run Derby Jeep

(Cute Photo, but the watermark is killing it. Great shallow depth of field. That's photography talk, just smile and nod...)
I'm sure some of you may have heard, but the world's greatest New York Yankees are the 2011 AL East Champions. In honor of that as well as other things, I decided to compose a post on someone. My Ray of Sunshine (other than a certain West Coast Rapper) happens to be Robinson Cano, second baseman of the New York Yankees as well as the 2011 Home Run Derby Champion.
Awhile ago, I created a post about what Cano drives (Ferrari California and Porsche Panamera). However, I stumbled across a project in the works: A 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon customized as a celebratory gift for him. Miami customizers to the stars, MC Customs, are still working hard on the project and haven't released details about the customizations, but I did find photos...
More photos are coming soon!!! Judging from the photos, you can tell what customizations are being done to it, but a detailed list would be so much better...

Revisiting Robinson Cano's taste in cars.
Jul 19, 2011
I've mentioned him many times on this site, but my favorite player on the New York Yankees happens to be the second baseman, Robinson Cano. In honor of winning the 2011 Home Run Derby and on the brink of being one of the greatest Yankee players of my time, I'd figured why not do a little research on what this adorable guy drives...
In my digging, I learned that Robbie takes his cars to MC Customs, a customization shop that has a highly extensive list of MLB players as clients, and they're located in Miami. The cars that he's taken there are the Ferrari California (Yes, like what Young Jeezy owns) and the Porsche Pamamera (like what Tiny and Monica owns).
According to Celebritycarz.com, Robbie's Red Ferrari California has tan interior, smoked taillights and resting comfortably on Forgiato Maglias wheels dipped in red and black.
Now his second car is the Porsche Panamera 4S in Black.
I'm curious to find out how John Centi was able to photograph Cano's Porsche inside and out, and he was able to give some details. His Panamera dishes out 400 horsepower, front engine all wheel drive, 4.8 liter V8 with 369 lb. per foot of Torque. Its got a top speed of 175 mph and reaches 0-60 in 4.8 sec, and it's roughly $94,000 (not including the smoked taillights and the Vellano wheels.).
I don't normally say this, but I'm more interested in Cano than I am with his cars. I'm such a flirt...
Robinson Cano broke my heart...
Apr 30, 2010
I'm late as sin on this one...
(Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images North America) Thanks Jim for photographing this hotness...
My Ray of Sunshine on the New York Yankees, Robinson Cano bought a Range Rover Sport a few years ago. I'm sure it's the Supercharged one. Like his Escalade, he took it to Unique Autosports before they moved off of LI. Sunshine (Cano) had it customized, had his number (24) stitched into the seats, 22 inch wheels, Pirelli tires, Strut grille, smoked tail lights, Range in the front, Rover in the back. And alas, one thing just ruined it...
The Body Kit... I hate that body kit on that Range... And that's why Robinson Cano broke my heart. But it was a smart move putting 22's on it. You can easily fit 24's on any Range, however, look where Cano lives and look where he works. He lives in Jersey, and has to drive over the GWB (George Washington Bridge) to get to his job on River Ave in the South Bronx. The roads in New York, including bridges are as smooth as a rocky surface. If he would have gotten 24's, he would have to replace them as often as he gets his oil changed.

If your hometown team won some games, this is how they would celebrate. I'm so mean...
