Mister Cartoon Presents Sanctioned Premium Car Care Brand And Coverage from Event
Apr 3, 2012
Cultural icon, legendary tattoo artist, custom car collector, and SA Studios Global (SASG) co-founder, Mister Cartoon, unveils Sanctiond™ his signature brand of premium car care products. Sanctiond™ will satisfy the unmet needs of those who share Cartoon's lifestyle and are equally passionate about music, sports, fashion, and cars.
Mister Cartoon Sanctiond™ is a growing collection of 15 products, including car wash, waxes, polishes, spray detailers, interior cleaners and conditioners, and a trio of innovative tire shines. Developed to exceed the stringent expectations of automotive painters and collectors, each product is a work of art in its own right, merging hand drawn package design with cutting edge product formulation.
The culturally diverse population is the fastest growing segment of consumers, yet, they're currently underserved by brands of all types. Sanctiond™ specifically appeals to this audience while also pioneering a unique emphasis on the subcultures that make up the Hispanic community. Through Mister Cartoon's well-oiled network of filmmakers, celebrities, artists, musicians, car guys and other key activators, Sanctiond™ is quickly being defined as the authentic car care brand birthed from Los Angeles, the epicenter of car culture. (Bernie's side-eying that comment. LA is the epicenter for aftermarket parts and lowriders)
"Cars are extensions of our personalities. Our customers are committed to making their vehicles more than just their rides. Cars are part of who they are," explains Cartoon. "I'm grateful I now have the ability to turn this passion into something everyone can experience. By combining my love of cars, culture, and lifestyle, I've created a product I'm proud of."
Mister Cartoon engaged industry veteran Atticus Firey, as CEO and co-founding partner. Firey is one of the most creative brand-builders in the car care world and has experienced unmatched success in this sector. Under Firey's leadership, Meguiar's underwent its greatest growth period and transformed into a premium, global brand, which was subsequently acquired by 3M. Firey utilized his unparalleled understanding of the robust $265B automotive aftermarket to carefully craft the Sanctiond™ strategy.
"Sanctiond™ is the answer to retailers looking for new consumers and revived energy in this category," Firey said. "There are millions of people being overlooked by current brands, because they're not the typical car enthusiasts. Yet, they are fanatics about their cars. I'm inspired by Cartoon's passion for this community and our team's ability to reach individuals through every aspect of a shared lifestyle."
SA Culture and The ID Agency, both part of the SA Studios Global group of companies, are leading the marketing charge for Sanctiond™. Their combined expertise in social media and experiential marketing provides unmatched accessibility and reach to the community. SASG stands at the forefront of culture-led marketing, leading dynamic collaborations and campaigns with brands including: Nike, Xbox, MetroPCS, Pirelli, Pepsi, Recaro, Formula Drift, Universal Studios, Undefeated and Brembo.
Sanctiond™ products will be available nationwide in stores and online starting April 2012.
Now... for my thoughts. I sat here and thought about it, and you know what? Sanctioned will be around for a long time. However, I hope, HOPE that it's available all over, and not just LA. Because as meticulous as lowrider customizers are- and Cartoon is one of them- Sanctioned will be a great product. You have to admit that about the guys who customize lowriders, and if you do not believe me, either attend a Lowrider Car Show or look at my photos. The amound of detail that they put into their cars is surreal. They customize parts of a car that the average person wouldn't think to look at.
I know I had my opinion about Sanctioned, however, I have to see if my opinion holds true when I try the product on my GMC Envoy.

Butler Tire Shows off a Chevy Surburban
Apr 2, 2012

The guys at Butler Tire released shots of a Chevy Surburban outfitted with a set of Lexani 26 inch Lust Wheels. And of course, I have to comment about the wheel design resembling a flower.

And you know the owner isn't complaining (or hurting) over the rising gas prices. *thinks out loud* I wonder if Lexani makes these in 22 inches for a GMC Envoy...
Platinum Motorsport shows off a Mercedes CL550
The guys at Platinum Motorsport released shots of a Mercedes Benz CL550 wearing Agetro f140 wheels. The Agetro brand isn't as common as Forgiato, Asanti, Lexani, etc, but they're specially made for exotic cars, which is why Platinum Motorsport loves them. Check this out...
You know I love the Mercedes Benz body style for CL/CLS. I'll use any excuse to show them off... even if I don't like the front end for the present edition.
Savini Wheels shows off a Mercedes S63 wearing their BM3 wheels
Savini Forged Wheels released shots of a Mercedes Benz S63 wearing their BM3 Wheels...

Not bad. Not bad at all....
Forgiato releases the Artigli-ECL wheel, and shows it off on a Lamborghini
Recently, Forgiato Wheels released the Artigli-ECL wheel. Accprding to Forgiato, this wheel design was inspired by the sharp lines and aggressive look of the Lamborghini Aventador, so what better way to release it for the first time than with a photo shoot on this car. On the Aventador, the wheel is pictured as 20×9, 2″ lip on 255/30/20 Pirelli Tires in the front, and 21×13.5, 4.5″ lip on 355/25/21 Pirelli Tires in the rear.
Check this out...
I really like the fashion approach to this shoot, you almost forgot that you're looking at a car ad, since something like this could very much be seen in Allure Magazine (sorry, girl moment)
