On September 19th, I made my annual trip to Indianapolis to attend MidwestFest 10.
I refer to MidwestFest as my third favorite car show behind SEMA and my ever so biased choice of the New York Auto Show. I've been to A LOT of car shows- from my homestate of New York all the way to San Diego, CA and points in between. I'm only biased towards New York but after that, I keep everyone equal. For the past six years, I've made annual trips to Indiana for this one particular show, simply because it's worth going to.
Year after year, people from all over the Midwest as well as some vehicles from the South gathered at the Marion County Fairgrounds to attend this one particular show. There were cars that I've seen before, however there were a solid percentage of cars that I still never seen before. The percentage of show cars have remained the same- 70% of the cars would be categorized under big rim culture (donks, boxes, bubble, American Muscle, A bodies, F bodies, and G bodies). The other 30% were lowriders, luxury/exotic, Corvettes, vans/trucks and imports.
Like I've been saying, if you love cars as much as you say you do, you should experience MidwestFest at least once in your life. To see the rest of the photos, check out Bernie's MidwestFest 10 gallery.
