On February 21st, I traveled to Louisiana to attend the 2nd Annual USO Car Club (Gulf Coast chapter) picnic. Not only was this was my first time attending this show, this was also the first car show I attended in the entire state of Louisiana (but it's not my first time in the state).
So how did I get here??? Last year, one of the few rappers that I follow on IG, Curren$y, posted a flyer about a car show. Mind you, New Orleans has been on my mind for weeks and I wanted to combine taking a trip there with a car show. Perfect timing...
Unfortunately my flight was cancelled so I had to rebook a flight in which I would arrive before the show ends. I had to move fast but I was able to have 90 minutes at the show. What did I see??? I am so glad you asked. Naturally, I've been to lowrider car shows in the Southeastern part of the US which means I was reunited with some vehicles that I've seen before. However, the majority of the show was completely new to me.
