On November 4th, I made my faithful return to the Las Vegas Convention Center to attend the 2025 SEMA Show, which happened to be my 15th consecutive SEMA Show. (I refuse to acknowledge SEMA 360)
When it comes to automotive events, the Speciality Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) trade show stands out as my all-time favorite. Yes, I know it's technically a trade show, but for me, it's so much more than that. SEMA allow those in the automotive industry to see what's new and the latest trends as well as how the product enhances the look of a vehicle, network with companies, learn how to grow your business in various ways, and also hobnob with some celebrities in the automotive world. No matter how many times I go, I can always count on a full day of walking, the weather is often perfect, meeting and reconnecting with likeminded people and most importantly-- seeing gorgeous vehicles.
Normally I could find a "car of SEMA" where I would find the same vehicle customized several different ways. Last year was the Tesla Cybertruck, however this year I couldn't really find one. Although I love seeing different ways of customizing the same vehicle (which is honestly why I am drawn to the Donk and Lowrider cultures since they both start off with the same canvas), but at the same time, I enjoy seeing the different vehicles that each booth had.
