After all of the fun I had last year, on July 19th, I made my return to the metro-Chicago area to attend Chitown Show n Go 8.
One day after the Rick Ross Car Show, Official Street Whipz held their annual King of the South Mega Show. In all fairness, the date for this show was announced months prior to the Rick Ross Car Show.
The block party started about two hours before the Rick Ross Car Show ended and it wasn't far from the show. Unfortunately by the time I made it over there, it was completely packed and I couldn't find a place to park where I wouldn't have to worry about getting towed.
The next day was the main event, which was held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. After spending the past five years judging, I enjoyed my break and got to check out all of the cars that were a part of the show. One thing about this show is that it doesn't matter how many times I attend, I will always come across vehicles that I've never seen before.
And much like last year, just because the King of the South show was the day after the Rick Ross Car Show, it doesn't mean that the same cars came to both shows. There were cars that were at both shows and there were cars that went to one show but not the other.
So what did I see???
