One of the projects I've been working on with my blog happened to be My First Car. I knew it would be something that could take Doing Donuts With Bernie to the next level.
I was toying with the idea of My First Car for awhile. I came across a book called "My First Car", where the author would ask people (if they were alive) the story about their first car. That was all well and good, but the people featured in the book were elderly or just plain dead. I know reading about Paul Newman (An actor who has passed on), Hugh Hefner (86 years old), and the story about their first cars do make an interesting story, BUT I also know that those who are in my generation who still have a story to tell. (Note: the youngest person who was featured in that book is Danica Patrick... and she's older than I am). Plus an automotive magazine had "My First Whip" but it was all of three sentences long. You can't tell much of a story with three sentences, my story is longer than that, and I'm not much of a talker (or tawkah spoken in my native dialect).
So I decided to bring My First Car, in video format, interviewing some interesting people. You never know who I may interview. I was fortinate to team up with Tony of A Creation Productions and he's been a great help by shooting and editing my vision.
I'm a shy and introverted person and I've never interviewed anyone so naturally I had to go with someone who I am comfortable with. I went my good friend (again, I'm introverted so I have a small handful of friends but I have an endless about of acquaintance) Grammy Award Winning rapper, Atlanta's own Killer Mike. Check out the video below and let me know what you think...
P.S. You never know who the next edition will feature. I'm very unpredictable. Could be a rapper, singer, reality star, car customization guru, athlete. Just whoever I feel like talking to.
