CarTunes of Atlanta (Where Young Jeezy gets his cars customized and where Keyshia Cole use to go to get her cars done as well) has a blog about either electronics that they personally recommend (useful) or to show off projects that they've been working on.
This week, their recommendation is one that I could really use. I did a little digging and found out more information about this handy dandy gadget. It comes with a comprehensive owner's manual and installation guide, installation DVD , COOL TRICK INSTALL KIT (Includes: Crimper, VHB Tape, Fuse Stake, Disconnect Terminal, Zip Ties, Velcro Hook & Loop Fasteners, Modular 4 Pin RJ11 Connectors and 3M Quick Connect Terminal), separate miniature controller and text display, front-mounted radar receiver, twin front-mounted laser receivers/shifters, rear license plate mounted laser receiver/shifter, 12-volt interface module, GPS antenna, 12-volt amplified speaker, display bezel, bi-color LED, and all mounting hardware.
The FREE 3 Year Database Subscription will automatically be added when you register the PASSPORT 9500ci.

The best quote I found happened to be from Car and Driver where they said "Overall, the 9500ci is a bit like the Bugatti Veyron: darn expensive, but if you've got the money to spend, you won't be disappointed" But as far as reviews go, everyone is saying that this is the best radar detector out.
And if you want one, Amazon is hustling them for a little over $1500. Through the actual Escort website, they want $1700.
As great as this product sounds, I'm sure one of their competitors will find a way to top it for less money.
Awesome CarTunes love them. I love the feathers... but $1700 is little bit high :) lol. i will try it 2nd week of next month.
