If you have 30 minutes, you can easily give your car a quick detail – it will go a long way in maintaining the look and feel of your vehicle… and sometimes even the value!
Always keep a trunk kit: Using the right products is the key to beautifying the look of your vehicle in the shortest amount of time possible. Meguiar’s® recommends motorists keep a “trunk kit” handy at all times, complete with a variety of products to clean their entire vehicle. Products such as Meguiar’s® Endurance Tire Spray, Ultimate Quik Wax and Quik Interior Detailer™ are specially designed to decrease detailing time and swiftly restore the original look of interior and exterior surfaces.
The right tools save time: Having the right assortment of car cleaning tools is one of the easiest ways to shave off detailing time. A microfiber towel such as Meguiar’s® Supreme Shine® Microfiber Towel reduces wipe off time while decreasing the chance of inflicting swirls in your finish. Using foam applicators or a small, soft brush is also recommended for removing debris and applying product to obtain the quickest results.
A little time makes a big difference: The old adage of “a little goes a long way” applies in car care. Also waiting to quick detail in cooler temperatures allows product to dry effectively and decreases the chance of streaks or swirls in the finish.
