Right after (and I do mean right after) the Rick Ross Car Show, Official Street Whipz held their annual King of the South weekend. But in all fairness, the date for the King of the South show was announced/promoted months before the Rick Ross Car Show date.
What I mean by right after is... The Block Party started an hour before the ending of the Rick Ross Car Show and it wasn't located far from the show. Unfortunately due to the shuttle kerfuffle at the Promise Land, by the time I made it to the block party location, it was completely gridlocked and I couldn't get to the show.
The next day was the main event, which was held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. I had no choice but to see everything because for the fifth year in a row, I was one of the judges. It doesn't matter how many times I attend this show, I will always come across vehicles that I've never seen before.
Don't be fooled, just because the King of the South show was held the day after the Rick Ross Car Show, it doesn't mean that the same cars came. There were cars that were at both shows, there were people at both shows that brought different cars and there were cars that only came to one show and not the other.
