THEY BROUGHT MY FAVORITE CAR...
I think she was taking a break, but she still posed for the camera.
I hope you don't think I'm done showing off Swift's cars...
At first, I didn't see her move, and I was about to ask who brought this lifesize doll. Her skin looked so smooth, I thought she was a porcelain doll.
Oh my goodness, they were two of the nicest people I met at the show.
I have no idea what Swift Car Club's motto is, but it definitely should be Strength in Numbers. I definitely know that I see some of them again at SEMA.
Now, America's favorite wheel company, Forgiato, came with some eye candy and had their own set up. One of the vehicles that they brought....
You can tell I wasn't in the South because there was only three donks at the entire show. They also brought some exotic eye candy...
Now, this show is in Southern California, so you know that it wouldn't be complete without...
Yes, because Southern California is also the capital of the lowriders.
So the great people of Warner Brothers wanted to promote their upcoming movie called Getaway. The star of the movie (and I don't mean Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez) was this Ford Shelby. This is the actual Shelby that they used in the movie- with scratches, peeling paint, bullet wounds, etc. This Shelby was literally built Ford tough.
French Montana smiled for my camera...
Mister Cartoon brought goodies too.
By this time there was only 30 minutes of the show, and I realized that I didn't finish in Xplicit Car Club's area... So I went back.
I thought this is a cute picture.
Yes, she was DJing from the trunk of a car.
This model did not miss a beat. She was dancing, saw me, stopped and posed, and went back to dancing.
Now by this time, the show was over and it was time to go, but I still kept taking pictures.
I always thought that these lowrider dolls were cute.
Lessons learned: to not wear sandles because I did get a blister on the bottom of my foot, to wear sunscreen since this California sun gave me a tan, and the number one lesson of all... BRING CASH because this was a cash only show.
This was a smart decision that I made. I traveled 2700 miles just to attend this show, and I didn't regret it. Not one bit. There's a lot more photos coming to Bernie's 2013 Dub Car Show: Anaheim gallery. I don't want you to think I only took 60 something photos.
P.S. I will be back next year... wearing sneakers, sunscreen, and bringing cash.
