Because I've been traumatized by the V-103 Car and Bike Show, I'm skeptical about radio sponsored car show. But the Drive Your Dreams Car Show is different and I do appreciate it. I refer to it as a radio station sponsored show since one of Envy's many jobs is being a radio personality (1/3 of the Breakfast Club which is syndicated across the country) and he literally promotes his car show at work... which is smart. The only difference is that Envy actually likes cars, he puts a lot of effort into planning, and also... the celebrity cars that Envy borrows actually belongs to the celebrities.
We all know that I'm not exactly a rookie of going to car shows and honestly, Drive Your Dreams Car Show is extremely family friendly (Thank goodness I wasn't subjected to seeing twerking of the back of a pickup truck or on a stage, like at most car shows.) There's a lot of cars, however there's also entertainment for the kids... and for the adults as well.
Envy decided to switch things up by having a roller skating rink in the middle of the show and they had cars all around it. Also Freddie the Atlanta Falcons' mascot was greeting the crowd. Envy and his wife Gia was signing autographs of their book,"Real Life, Real Love". Monster Energy was doing BMX style riding, then of course the kids and adults were having fun with the rides.
But as fun as the entertainment was, I was there for the cars.... Envy pulled cars from 50 Cent, Rick Ross, Lil Baby, Karlos Miller, Bun B and more. And even the cars that were a part of the show was just as great. Regardless, I had no reason to complain.
