Butler Tire shows off a Bentley Continental GT

Jan 6, 2014

Atlanta's number one resource for wheels and tires, Butler Tire, released photos of a Bentley Continental GT. The customer wanted some aftermarket wheels that compliment the vehicle and decided on Maya DTV Wheels in 22 inches. The end result...

After all, they will baby your car.

Bernie's Favorite: CEC Wheels selling Tiffany Blue Bentley Continental GTC

Jan 24, 2013

If Holly Golightly was a real person, THIS would be her car. CEC Wheels released information about an extremely gorgeous Bentley Continental GTC. This isn't just any ol' Bentley Continental GTC. Let's run though this...

What we have here is a 2013 Bentley Continental GTC V8 Beverly Hills Limited Edition car. The new 4.0 liter twin turbocharged V8 engine profuces 500 horsepower at 60000 rpm and 487 lb ft of torque. Combine those specs with the new 8 speed automatic transmission and is capable of traveling over 500 miles on a single tank of gas.

This Bentley was customized exclusively for the Bentley of Beverly Hills. The paint is a Celeste Blue Pearlescent, similiar to the iconic Tiffany & Co Blue. The Tiffany Bentley is wearing 22 inch CEC c881 wheels in your choice of Liquid Silver or Matte Black (Bernie says go with Liquid Silver.) and wrapped in Continental Tire's ExtremeContact ultra high performance all-season tires.

I love this car, but if only it had a chrome grille instead of a black one.

If I was going to be in Beverly Hills on my birthday (aka this weekend), I would definitely go to CEC Wheels just to see this car. And photograph it. And test drive it. Also, this car shouldn't be in Beverly Hills.  It belongs in the city that has the flagship store of Tiffany's. If Tiffany & Co. was gangsta enough, they would buy it and use it for events. Yes I did use Tiffany's and gangsta in the same sentence.

How to Cheapen a Bentley Continental GT by The Game

Jan 15, 2013

Photo by Jonathan Mannion... The Great
Los Angeles rapper The Game released a tragic photo yesterday. Before I get into the photo, let's recap  on The Game's last couple of cars.

He had the leather-wrapped Ferrari that you can't drive in the rain...

This wasn't bad... the Gold Porsche Panamera. It was different, but still tasteful. But somewhere after this Porsche and the reality show which I still didn't understand came this tragic mess...

Presenting a Orange 2013 Bentley Continental GT with a HORRID body kit and painted a HORRID color. Yes- how the car was painted looks great, but that color of a $165,000 (remember, this isn't the Flying Spur). I'm convinced that The Game has no real friends and only has yes men in his camp. And that Ladies and Gentlemen is a prime example of how to cheapen a Bentley.

Ice T and his improved Bentley Continental GT

Nov 14, 2012

Ice T decided to revamp one of his prized possessions-- his Bentley Continental GT. Thanks to Onyx Concepts, Ice was able to add one of their new aerodynamic body kits. Of course, Ice is the only one in the country with it. Thankfully Action Tire in Lodi, NJ posted some photos and I was able to find some new videos (via youtube) to really show it off...

Bentley GT with 20in Savini BM3 Wheels

Atlanta's favorite customizers, Butler Tire, released photos of a Bentley Continental GT outfitted with Savini's BM3 Wheels, but instead of leaving the wheels as is, they contrasted them with black and red accents.

Oldie but Goodie: Monster Bentley Continental GT by West Coast Customs

Sep 10, 2012

Going though a dry spell since I'm not finding car show coverage that's decent, so I'd figure that I'll start the "Oldie but Goodie" section by showing off cars that weren't recently customized. But with this section, they have to be fully customized. No wheel and tires in this section.

To kick this off right, I'm showing off the Monster Bentley Continental GT that was customized by West Coast Customs. Check out the photos below, you won't be disappointed...

I really love this shade of blue and this particular vehicle.

Bentley GT with 22in MHT Vendetta Wheels

The guys at Butler Tire released photos of a brand spankin' new Bentley Continental GT sitting on some MHT Vendetta Wheels in 22 inches. Check out the photos and the commentary I have afterwards.

I like the wheels that were picked for this particular vehicle, because it compliments it and it doesn't cheapen the Bentley. With luxury and exotic vehicles, you gotta watch what wheels you choose because it can and will make a vehicle look inexpensive. Wheel design does make or break the look of the vehicle. Prime example: when you see Daytons on a SUV and on a Muscle Car. Don't believe me?

I compare wheel design to the plus size women that believe in wearing leggings and a tube top as an outfit (typically found in a mall in the hood). Just because they make it in your size, it doesn't mean that you should wear it, ESPECIALLY in public. But those Daytons above, that's a Louisville, KY thing. When I went to that "Funkmaster Flex" Car Show and saw vehicles like that sitting on Daytons, I wanted to cry. Like literally, wanted to cry. And since Louisville is close to Ohio, I'm gonna get on you guys too about that.
