This Miami based episode was a little different in a great way. The underlying theme, and I’m not sure that Dub did this on purpose, but it was inspiration.
The host of the show was the Game along with his co-star, a black Lamborghini with Savini on the rear. He was looking kinda cute in this episode. (Sorry, girl moment)
I enjoyed DJ Khaled’s segment. It started out riding around in his Baby Blue Rolls Royce Phantom (no, he wasn’t driving); Quick tour of his studio, then we get back to riding to one of his shows in Miami. His segment wasn’t about cars, but I enjoyed it because it was inspirational. When you’re around people who don’t understand what you want to do and just want to bring you down, you often enjoy when someone you may not personally know can inspire you to do great things. And his inspiration to what he does is those who have made it. At times, you need to hear things like that, cause especially in this point in time, there's many people who are out there to steal your joy.
Cool and Dre… Their piece was more of a lifestyle piece which is the first segment that could fit the category of lifestyle. I’m noticing that the new Miami trend is to grow your beard out. See what Rick Ross started… Dre showed off his Maybach 57S, Cool showed off the Saks Fifth Ave Mercedes that I’ve talked about before, as well as the 1971 Chevy Impala. If you go back in time for a second when Cool and Dre was on MTV Cribs, that same Chevy Impala was on that episode. Maybe owners do value their old school vehicles a bit more than their newer cars.
Again, the demanding Shaq is at it again. But does Shaq realize that because they’re showing the customization on tv, they’re going to run into the same problem again, since someone will copy the customizations that was done. But I’m anxious to see the finished project seeing how he keeps changing his mind.
Street Scenes Equipment segment was great because it gave that insight on how to make a grille, even though the segment was all of two minutes.
Gym Class Heroes’ Travie McCoy’s segment. I didn’t realize how eclectic he was. You couldn’t tell by that gunmetal grey Porsche Carrera 4 he pulled up in, but I thought his artwork was great, but again, this segment wasn't about cars.
All in all, I really liked this episode, despite it being more of a lifestyle episode rather than an automotive episode. However, I still can’t wait until the Amber Rose episode. Stop judging me.

CEC Wheels Presents the C826 for the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Challenger/Magnum/Charger
Jul 25, 2011
CEC's c826 is a classic design that never goes out of style. The c826's flush six spoke design gives the appearance of a much larger diameter wheel and its elegant design makes it right at home on virtually any vehicle.
This month's special on the c826 coincides with the release of the new 2012 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300. The c826 is the perfect complement to these updated vehicle designs.
Fitment: 2005+ Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger/Magnum/Challenger Note: Not for All Wheel Drive models
Chrysler 300C with 22" CEC c826 with Chrome finish
Dodge Charger Daytona with 22" CEC C826 in Matte Black finish
Dodge Challenger with 20" CEC c826 in Matte Black finish (They so should have used 22" wheels on this Challenger)
For more information, click on any of the photos above and it will directly bring you to the C826 wheel page.
Bernie's Car Show Coverage: 2011 V-103 Car and Bike Show
July 16th 2011 was the fourth time that I attended the V-103 Car and Bike Show, only this time, I couldn't stay for the entire show. I wouldn't be the best person to ask about who performed, who was suppose to be there, etc. What I can tell you is about the cars.

Within the few hours I was there, I was pleased with the cars that showed up. In past years, I've been hard on how I critique this show because there were less cars and more venders that has nothing to do with the automotive field. Yes, they're trying to appeal to everyone, but at the same token, it's a car show. Getting a $50 weave has nothing to do with cars, but of course, the majority of the attendees only came to see who was going to grace the stage.
And then there's me, who only came for the cars...
(Sean Garrett's Ferrari)
The person with the biggest presence a.k.a. he brought the most cars: Akon. Here's his Lamborghini, the same one you can catch at QT gas station in Atlanta around the corner from my house every so often. (The things I notice while pumping gas)

Akon's Mercedes SLS sitting on Forgiatos. And yes I jumped the ropes to get better shots, actually one of the guys who works for Konvict Muzik said I could.

And Akon's Audi R8. It's safe to say that he has a thing for white exotic cars and white Forgiato Wheels.

Interesting choice for a grille.
I actually liked the graphics on this car, and normally that's not my thing

Close up

Loved this shade of blue on this lowrider.

I spoke to the owner of this car and he told me how he builds and customize cars for the love of it, he doesn't do it to compete. He picks and chooses his shows that he attends, which means you'll only catch him at this show and certain shows in Miami. And his car is dedicated to the legends of music.

I don't know about it being Georgia's number one soda, but it's definitely mine. Mix it with Patron, and it tastes GREAT!!! Thus concludes my alcoholic moment (I don't drink and drive).

Lincoln Continental with the suicide doors.

Yellow and Black Dodge Challenger

Look what Jason Geter brought!!!!

I'm praying that this isn't in the near future. 32's are one thing (on the right vehicle), but 42's?!?!?!?!?

Butler Tire actually had the prime spot of the car show. I should know because I had the hardest time in this particular section. Probably because...

most dudes were gawking at Amber, like they've never seen a girl wear leather leggings before.

They also teamed up with Lexani/Asanti and brought an 18-wheeler, where folks can go inside and check out the entire inventory of designs that both companies provide.
And as we all know, a car show isn't a car show without...

and his prized possession (other than family and Block Entertainment): His Donkasaurus.

This year had a different selection of cars compared to last year, but it wasn't a bad show. I'll be back next year.

Ferrari 458 Italia by Butler Tire
Jul 21, 2011
The guys at Butler Tire had the pleasure of working on a Ferrari 458 Italia (probably not their first, and certainly will not be their last). The challenge was to customize this exotic car, but still maintain it's gorgeous Italian style.
According to Butler Tire, "We chose Savini Wheels as we felt that a set of their SV37s rims complemented this Ferrari 458 perfectly without overpowering it. After all, this bad boy still needs to be the star of the show.
The Savini SV37s is a multi-spoke wheel that took to paint beautifully using original Ferrari paint on the faces - to match the 458's exterior. Next we painted the outer lips and part of the spokes white to really make the Carbon Fiber features stand out. This car doesn't look big going down the road but the front fenders swallowed a pair of 21x9 inch rims with 255.30.21 Pirelli Nero tires like nobody's business. Out back a pair of 22x11.5 inch rims wrapped in 315.25.22 Pirelli Nero tires gets that crazy power to the asphalt. That's some pretty serious rubber - a 315 sized Pirelli measures almost 12.5 inches across!!!
As far as performance goes, what else can you do to this already amazing piece of machinery? We decided to add the Capristo 458 Italia Valved Exhaust System. This system is extremely lightweight, adds to the vehicles' horsepower, and has a much deeper sound than the factory system. As an added bonus this particular system comes with a remote that activates the 458's built in exhaust valves. This is something that is normally handled automatically by the vehicle's computer once the exhaust has reached operating temperature but now we have total control over the tone and sound of the exhaust. By using the remote control we can make the exhaust louder and deeper on command, or keep it subdued and mellow."
Butler Tire said it was a challenge, but they reaped the beautiful reward of a job well done. And I do love the photography...
