The 2015 Dub Magazine Car Show Schedule... Version one.
Nov 26, 2014
While I was at SEMA, I was able to get my hands on the latest Dub Magazine. Inside the magazine... you guessed it, was the 2015 Dub Magazine Car Show Schedule. I titled this post with the words "Version 1" because the schedule does change- cities are added and cities are also dropped. Enough talking, here's the schedule...
January 8-11- San Jose, CA at San Jose Convention Center as a part of the San Jose Auto Show
January 17-25- Detroit, MI at Cobo Hall as a part of the North American International Auto Show
January 31- February 8- Philadelphia, PA at the Pennsylvania Convention Center as a part of the Philadelphia Auto Show
February 5-8- Portland, OR at the Oregon Convention Center as a part of the Portland International Auto Show.
March 1- Los Angeles, CA at the Los Angeles Convention Center
April 10-12- The Greatest City of All... New York, NY at the Jacob Javits Convention Center as a part of the New York International Auto Show.
June 14- Dallas, TX at Dallas Convention Center
August 1- Phoenix, AZ at Phoenix Convention Center
September 20- Anaheim, CA at Angels of Anaheim Stadium
November 3-6- Las Vegas, NVat Las Vegas Convention Center as a part of SEMA
Thoughts after seeing this schedule... I was shocked that San Jose and Portland have an auto show. Also, I definitely know that this is a tentative schedule because I do not see Miami on this schedule. After last year's turnout and security tactics enforced, I don't expect Dub to come back to Atlanta. However, Dallas can't be the only Southern city for the 2015 Tour. I really want to go to Phoenix. I do want to go to Dallas for a car show, but I rather go there for Forgiato Fest or the Los Magnificos shows
Expect updates throughout the year, because I have a feeling one more city will be added. Regardless, I will be attending the last two Dub shows of the year.

Update: Dub Magazine releases their 2014 Dub Car Show Schedule
Mar 4, 2014
It's finally here, and I'm truly shocked. Dub Magazine released their car show schedule for this year, and it's not as predictable as I thought. They kept the staple cities and added cities that haven't been on Dub's radar for a long, long time. Ready????
January 18- January 26 (my birthday, sorry.) Detroit, MI (Cobo Hall inside North American International Auto Show)
February 7- February 16: Philadelphia, PA (Philadelphia Convention Center inside the Philadelphia Auto Show)
April 6th: Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles Convention Center)
April 19th: Columbus, OH (Columbus Convention Center)
April 25- April 27: Greatest City in the World- New York, NY (Jacob Javits Convention Center inside the New York International Auto Show)
May 17: Jackson, MS (Jackson Convention Center)
June 1: Dallas, TX (Dallas Convention Center)
**June 8: Chicago, IL (Soldier Field)
**June 29th: Somewhere in South Florida (Probably Miami; Location: TBD)
July 19: Raleigh, NC (Raleigh Convention Center)
**July: 19: Atlanta, GA (Georgia World Congress Center)
**August 3: Phoenix, AZ (Phoenix Convention Center)
**August 24: Sacramento, CA (Cal Expo Center)
Sept 7: Anaheim, CA (Angels Stadium)
Nov 4-7: Las Vegas, NV (Las Vegas Convention Center as major part of SEMA)
Update: All of the new stops have asterisks next to it and all of the cancelled shows are crossed out.
I'm still on the fence of which shows I will attend, but the last two I will definitely be in attendance. I'm not going to the New York one. I really think they should get rid of New York and bring back Englishtown, NJ. It's hard because I'm trying to attend more car shows outside of metro Atlanta this year. Sacramento does sound interesting and so does the Chicago one. In the past, Chicago has been an indoor show, but this year Dub is doing the show like the Anaheim show.
No matter how hard you try, the top three shows will always be Los Angeles, Anaheim, and Las Vegas with the number one show being Las Vegas.

2013 Dub Car Show Schedule is officially out...
Jan 30, 2013
... but you and I both know that it's not set in stone.
January 19-27th: Philadelphia, PA (inside of Philly's Auto Show) Already passed. Lo siento.
April 5th-7th: Greatest City Ever. Sorry, I'm a little biased, but New York, NY (inside of NYIAS)
April 7th: Los Angeles, CA (hope there's no shootouts)
April 27th: Memphis, TN (Will definitely bring a large crowd)
May 19th: Miami, FL
June 1st: Charlotte, NC
June 16th: Deep in the heart of Dallas, TX (That'll be a good one)
June 22nd: Chicago, IL (That'll be a good one)
July 27th: Atlanta, GA (*side eye*)
August 11th: Anaheim, CA
October 13th: Phoenix, AZ
And of the best stop of all...
November 5-8th: Las Vegas, Nevada at SEMA.
Based off of last years photos, cause you know I looked at all of the photos. Vegas will be the best one for obvious reasons. Anaheim is an extremely close second, but I see it's later in the year (probably have to work around the Angels' schedule. Not like the Angels are going to do well anyway. Go Yankees.) Dallas, Chicago, Phoenix, and Los Angeles are tied for third. Charlotte is a crap shoot- Could be good, could be bad. Atlanta and Memphis will make money because people really just want to see the concert. Miami will be good if it's outside- since Florida boys have their their own time schedule. They'll get there when they feel like it. The Philly and New York will suck because they're inside of an auto show- which means it'll only be a small section.
And why did Dub get rid of the Englishtown, NJ tour stop??? I had fun at that one... I just realized something... what happened to Houston?
P.S. After seeing this, I'm not sure which ones I'll attend.

Recapping Dub Magazine Project Season 2 Episode 1
Nov 6, 2012
Dub Magazine Project is back for a second season. Last year,
I spent the entire season waiting on Amber Rose. This year, I’m spending the
entire season waiting for Lil Duval. This year, they made a change in the host.
They went from Compton rapper, The Game to Compton rapper, Tyga. Although I
love looking and listening to The Game (I love a raspy voice- why do you think
I love Big Ang from Mob Wives?), I liked how they went with someone who’s
younger (no disrespect) and a fresher face.
Mac Miller segment… they went behind the scenes at the Dub
Magazine cover shoot. Mac went on to introducing his co-star on the shoot- a
1964 Cadillac El Dorado. He showed the most important aspect of a car- and it
wasn’t necessarily the engine. The most important point that Mac made was… “The
car is the most important place to listen to your music” and that’s so true.
This segment was less about cars and more lifestyle. Either way, I’m only
talking about the cars.
Mike Epps is stooooopid. Riding ‘round and gettin’ it in a
1922 Ford. He went on to say the
difference between a new car and a classic car is that with a new car, it’s
taking what you can get. With a classic car, you can start off customizing it
to how you want it, which is true. His segment continues with going to the
Peterson Automotive Museum, and this was the most interesting museum tour ever.
Myles Kovacs is back customizing cars for people. But this
time it’s a more interesting choice of people and ONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT CARS-
Travis Barker. Travis gave Dub Garage an interesting customization request-
taking a GMC Silverado Denali truck, and ask them to give it the Cadillac treatment, as well as the blacked out exterior. Myles delivered and Travis was happy for it.
Vaughn Gittin Jr shows the art of drifting and I appreciate him for it.
Then they go inside the masterpiece that is Killer
Kreations who goes great custom artwork. Their latest project that received a lot of attention was Pauly D's bike that was on the cover of Dub Magazine last year.
Philly’s own, Meek Mill, went back to his hometown to buy a
new toy. His choice, 2005 Yahima Banchee bike- $30,000 and he's getting it from his favorite store/ hangout- Lou Racing Custom Cycles in North Philly. Meek Mill loves Lou's Racing so much, that he's willing to come from the other side of town to go there. Sometimes when you love something, you're willing to go there, no matter where you were originally.
All in all- strong episode, but it was a lot crammed into 30 mins. I thought Vaughn Gittin only said 5 words and his segment was over.
But here's the full length episode...
Car Show Coverage: 2012 Philly Auto Show/ Dub Car Show
Feb 20, 2012
Dub continues their car show tour by joining forces with the Philadelphia Auto Show. Like last year, it was held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. When I posted last year's coverage, I used Tri-State Tuners, since they understand the fundamentals of photography. Sadly they posted three times the photos last year than they did this year, so I used both their photos as well as the photos from Dub Magazine.
I love the theme, how they used the Pennsylvania license plate design as the logo. I see they have state pride, even though the Phillies did lose to the Yankees in the World Series.
On to the photos, and the photos with the Tri-State Tuners watermark is from Tri-State Tuners.com (duh.) and the photos without the watermark is from Dub Magazine. Capisce? (Sorry, I've been watching too much Mob Wives. Renee is starting to rub off on me. Who am I kidding? You could never watch enough Mob Wives.)
(I like the composition)
(Prime example of when selective focus works)
(Balloons!!! And a Hyundai Genesis. Those Genesis are kinda cute. I remember those days when I was 16 and wanted a Hyundai Tiburon. Such a Long Island thing. But Pops axed that idea and got me a gently used, fully loaded Chevy Blazer)
(Screams like a 16 year old girl watching Justin Beiber)
(Look more balloons and a Nissan GTR. Remember this is an auto show in the Northeastern part of the US, they're going to show more imports, SUVs, and luxury cars than anything else.)
(Selective focus again. If you don't know what you're doing, then do not try this)
(Look at my boo in blue...)
(I do appreciate a nice Mercedes, but I'm just not a fan of the new front end)
(Nice way to advertise for the Porsche Driving School.)
(Yes!!! So Gorgeous)
(You know, the body reminds me of the Jaguar, but I would rather have a Jaguar than a Buick.)
(*Smiles* I see that horsey)
(Nice way to show off a Challenger...)
(I hope this wasn't to imply that the Lexus in the background is a lemon, even if the lemons have the same coloring as an orange.)
(Who needs Hot Wheels when you could just get the Dub Cars. Of course, the Dub Car costs a lot more, but they look better.)

(Isn't he ADORABLE???? So gorgeous)
(This is a nice trunk space. It's customized, but it's clean... JL Audio would be proud)
(Kicker Audio would be so proud)

(Prime example of using every bit of space inside of an automobile.)
(Don't try anything cause security is watching your every move)
(This is my other boyfriend. It's almost hard to keep up with all of the boos, boyfriends, lovers that I have.)
(Even in white, he's adorable. *Sighs*)
(Still standing by what I said about Chevy Corvettes.)
(Dare I say it, this body kit doesn't look that bad on this Lexus. But I'm not getting soft in my old age...)
(You know those boys took her picture to school and showed it off for show-and-tell)
(Dude, I really want to go to the Ford Racing School, but I have to see when I'll actually make it to Utah. And if I do make it to the school, would they let me
(I like this particular hue of blue)
(YOU KNOW there has to be a Civic or an Accord just around the river bend)
(*coughs* Still not better than a Mustang *clears throat* Sorry...)
(Mine, Mine, and Mine)
(Now I love the Boss Edition Mustang as much as the next red-blooded American, HOWEVER, the yellow and silver combination is ugly)

(Don't think I'm going to talk about the blue Mustang, but instead I'm going to talk about the floor. They should mandate having the aisle look like a road at all Auto Shows. That is too cute and it keeps up with the theme. Now that was genius.)

(Monster Energy Drink brought the famed Charger)

(The nicest customized Kia I've ever seen, and you know that's rare. But the wheels need work.)

(The new Dodge Dart, even if the booty (back of the the car) is smaller than the Charger.)

(You know, I just thought about how pretty the matte black Dodge Charger with the glossy black racing stripes at SEMA. After seeing that one, no other Charger matters.)

(Talk about a blast from the past)

(I like the contrast between the black carpet and the white Lamborghini. Really makes it *makes popping sound* pop)

(Prays that this car belongs to someone who lives south of the Mason Dixon line)
(Interesting Camaro)

(Cute blacked out Hummer, but the MPG is worse than an Envoy. I'll pass...)
(Not bad, but if the wheels had some color matching to it, it would be better)

(If I had a motorcycle, it would definitely be this one. I still eat Cocoa Puffs)

(And we can't forget about the motorcycle that belongs to America's Favorite Guido. *In my Pauly D voice* Yeah Buddy....)Not bad Philly, but honestly, my mouth is watering for a Cheesesteak from Gino's.
