Bernie's Instagram Feed: May 29th 2014

May 30, 2014

One thing I love to do is to show off great cars, so what better way to show off the best photos of my Instagram feed for May 29th 2014... well the automotive ones anyway. I doubt you want to see a bunch of fitness ones. In case you like what you see, I included the instagram handle of each account that I'm about to show off, and also, don't forget to follow me (@CarShowBernie) as well.

First things first, if you are in the Dallas area or if you are willing to drive to Dallas, Dub Magazine Car Show (@DubShowTour) will be stopping in Dallas this Sunday. I'm very critical of car shows, however, this sounds like a promiscing show. Dallas is a great city to have a car show in, and one day, I will make it there. P.S. The Dub Show isn't coming to Houston, so if you live in Texas in general, you'se might want to throw some snacks in the car and head to Dallas. And how does K Michelle fit into performing at a car show?

Before you say that Dallas is too far, Topo (@wide_body_king) will be at the Dub Show in Dallas, and he's bringing what's in this video. Oddly enough, I failed to mention that Topo is traveling from Los Angeles to come to the show.

I'm definitely sure that Trendsetters Dallas (@Trendsetters214) will be attending the Dub Show in Dallas. And if they bring vehicles like this Chevy Camaro SS, then Trendsetters will have a very busy area within the show. This particular Camaro SS is black with red accents, with 22 inch Forgiato Wheels and Forgiato Grille. It also has a custom sound system.

Orlando's Own, Ultimate Auto (@ultimateauto) released a teaser picture of an Army Green Ultimate Edition Jeep Unlimited.

This next person isn't an automotive person, in fact, he's admitted to currently driving a 2004 Cadillac Escalade that burns oil faster than usual. One of the guys from Guy Code and also from my FAVORITE morning show-The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne tha God (@CthaGod) posted this. Personally, I've lived in the South for awhile, in fact a little too long, and one of the things I learned is that guys will match their clothing to their car. P.S. Don't listen to the Breakfast Club if you have kids in the car.

From my hometown of Long Island, New York, Martino Auto Concepts (@martinoautoconcepts) showed off a progress photo of a display table that they're making for one of their customers. Combining authentic Ferrari F430 Wheels into furniture is perfect for an automotive enthusiast.

Mc Customs (@MCCustomsMiami) wants to know if you like the Range Rover with Forgiato Wheels or the Range Rover with Vellano Wheels. I like the Range Rover with the.... Like I was gonna answer that question.

Lexani Wheels (@Lexaniofficial) has officially topped the whole conversion vehicle idea. They can customize a vehicle to have a toilet. This is a Mercedes Benz L5B Sprinter Conversion van with a toilet.

Everyone's favorite photographer, (@Derick_G) really pulled up to a Taco Bell in a black and gold wrapped Maybach. Of all the fast food places, he really picked Taco Bell. That's like picking White Castle. And if you're from the northeast, you know what effect that White Castle has on a person. If you're not sure what I'm referring to, let's just say that the added feature in the Lexani Conversion van would be put to some use, and you'll be on it for awhile.

Originally I planned to show off posts from May 29th, but the day before, Premier Tire of Canada  (@Premiertire) posted a video of a Range Rover on Forgiato Wheels. I've seen some cars. I've seen cars on Forgiato wheels. But a vehicle on Forgiato Wheels that the wheels glow in the dark? I don't mean the lights on the wheels, these wheels glow....

Bernie's Cargram Feed: February 8-9th

Feb 10, 2014

I decided to do another Instagram Feed, where I share my favorite photos (well, the automotive related ones) of the ones that I follow from a particular day. Well, this time I decided to compile the best photos from this weekend that just ended.

To kick things off, I decided to include a photo that was taken the previous weekend at Atlanta's Caffeine and Octane. Now, I'm not a person who poses in photos, and you can see that with my Instagram page (@CarShowBernie).

And I decided to pose, thanks to @teamlmp.

Adventus Forged Wheels (@adventusforged) posted a photo of a Lexus IS wearing their AVS-2 Wheels. The bottom of the pic has their AVS line.

One of my favorite customized cars, this matte blue Mercedes Benz CLS that belongs to one of the Swift Car Club members (@swiftrazo). This photo was done at a photo shoot in downtown Los Angeles, and have I mentioned that I want this car. Like I really want it.

Everyone's favorite divorce lawyer from Long Island, NY and his very interesting girlfriend (@teamsalamone) are celebrating their 6th anniversary and posted this flipogram highlight their love for each other... and also Lamborghinis.

Oh and yes, there is an uncensored version.

Vossen Wheels (@vossen) had a presense at the Tag Motorsports event. One of the cars out there was an Audi A5 wearing Vossen's CV7 wheels.

Savini Forged Wheels (@SaviniWheels) also was at the Tag Motorsports event, and they brought this Rolls Royce Ghost.

Branded Customs (@BrandedCustoms) from Dallas, TX released a photo of a blacked out Chevy Camaro that they've done. Looking good...

Topo of TS Designs (@wide_body_king) released another picture of one of his most successful projects. Remember how TS Designs, JC Kustomz, and Forgiato created the widebodied Corvette Stingray??? Well, now aside from the hardtop, you can get the same widebodied goodness in a convertible. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

MC Customs (@MCCustomsMiami) posted this behind the scenes shot of two cars- one's wearing Savini Wheels, the other is wearing Vossen Wheels. Side note: I'm extremely happy that the photographer is shooting with a Canon.

Forgiato Wheels (@forgiato) reposted this photo from MC Customs of this Mercedes Benz S550 wearing their wheels.

Exclusive Motoring (@exclusivemotoring) posted this shot of a Mercedes Benz G550 customized with painted black exterior trim grilles and badges smoked lights and color matched Forgiato wheels.

Diamond Black Exteriors (@diamondblackexteriors) celebrated a birthday (a fellow Aquarius) and his mother-in-law made this gorgeous cake.

Asanti Wheels (@asantiwheels) released a rendering of a Lamborghini Aventador sitting on the Asanti 805 wheels.

Aimee Shackelford (@petrolgirl) posted a college from Ferrari Day hosted by Petersen's Automotive Museum. California is the perfect place to have a Ferrari Day.

Dub Magazine (@DubMagazine) is kicking off their second tour stop of 2014 at the Philadelphia Auto Show.

Butler Tire (@ButlerTire) released this photo of a Porsche Panamera S wearing Forgiato Wheels.

Onyx Concept Vehicles (@onyxconcept) asked their followers if matte black is timeless or if it's a fad. I think it looks great... when done correctly. I've seen some horrid matte paint jobs.

To round out the weekend recap, The Auto Firm (@theautofirm) released a photo of a complete brush titanium wrapped Maybach with all gloss black trimmings sitting on the first set of 24 inch new Avorza AV10 Wheels.

Revisiting the Famous Widebody Corvette C7 Stingray... plus the replicas.

Feb 3, 2014

Whether you like it or not, this is the most famous 2014 Chevy Corvette around. But let's backtrack to get the entire story, shall we?

At the 2013 New York International Auto Show, Chevrolet had the brillant idea to unveil the new Chevy Corvette and it instantly became popular. Five months later, Forgiato wheel company was plotting a way to take over SEMA. Combining forces with both TS Designs and JC Kustomz, they came up with a widebodied Corvette that almost had the power to make you forget what the factory Corvette looked like.

Customizations include custom Forgiato grille, Forgiato Maglia-ECL Wheels (21" in the front, 22's in the back), wide body modification (2" in the front, 3" in the rear), custom chin spoiler, custom rear diffuser with a bunch of carbon fiber accents, and of course, the Aston Martin Blue paint.

It's no surprise, but this widebodied Corvette won three awards at SEMA- the Dub Magazine Builder of the Year Award, the Gran Turismo Peoples Choice Award, and most importantly the GM Design Award. Plus, the original widebodied Corvette was sold at SEMA for a mere $150,000. So what do you do when the car you made was soooo popular? You'se make more. And so they did.

Like the saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". But I'm anxious to see how Topo is going to top this this one.
