Swizz Beatz's gift to his wife...

(Photo by Jonathan Mannion... the great)

Because of the wonderful invention of Twitter, everyday folks can catch up with celebrities. Case in point: Swizz Beatz- the new VP of design at Lotus Motors. Keep in mind why I added his job description.

Yesterday, Swizzy tweeted "The best part of my Bday today was my gift I made my wife because my Bday is her Bday." and with that, he gave his wife (Alicia Keys) a Lotus. My being the romantic that I am, I thought it was sweet, but then I thought...

since he's a person with a pretty high position at an automotive manufacturer, wouldn't he get a great discount on a particular Lotus or get a free one ?

Sweet gesture, but just sayin....

Congrats to Swizz Beatz for his new job at Lotus

The folks at Lotus just hired a new employee. After being uber-impressed with how he helped revitalize Reebok, Lotus acted fast and hired Grammy Award Winning Producer (Sorry, he's more well known as a producer rather than a rapper) Kaseem Dean b.k.a. Swizz Beatz as the Vice President of Creative Design and Global Marketing. Sounds as exotic as their cars...

According to Lotus, “So what makes Swizz Beatz the perfect man to add to the Lotus line-up? Three little facts: 1. Like Group Lotus , he means business: He’s a risk taker with considerable credentials including music producer, rapper, designer AND painter. 2. Like our cars, he’s multi award winning: This year he shared a Grammy Award with Jay-Z. 3. Like Group Lotus he keeps good company: This man regularly works with the likes of Bono, Kanye West, Beyoncé and Alicia Keys.”

I'm sure there's folks out there grumbling because they hired a New York Hip Hop Producer for such an important position within a world renown company. However, I'm not the one who is grumbling. Instead, I'm the one saying congratulations. I know Lotus will have some interesting commercials and advertisements. Swizzy!!!!

Bernie Can't Confirm Nor Deny This But:

Could it be... Swizz Beatz and Aston Martin teaming up? Anything is possible these days.

Again, I can't confirm or deny, but I'll have to watch Swizzy's twitter closely.

Ridin Music: Bernie's Song Of The Moment

So DJ Khaled rounded up Snoop, Ludacris, T-Pain, and Ricky Ross for the song "All I Do Is Win". THEN, Khaled rounded up even more people for the remix... brace yourself for the list. We have Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, Puffy, Nicki Minaj, Fabolous, T-Pain, Fat Joe, and Swizz Beatz. And on top of that, Khaled decides to rap.

Of course, the remix has 10 people on it, so each person basically gets two bars on a 5 minute 20 second song. It's a little bit more than two bars, but not much more.

So muffin butts, if you want to take a listen to both, I got them below. The original version is first:

Followed by the remix:
