Chris Brown customizes Porsche Panamera... and not in a good way.

Aug 27, 2013

By now, I'm sure you heard about this, but just in case...

Chris Brown took his frustrations out on a Porsche Panamera. He didn't crash it, but he customized it like he customized his house. Yes boys and girls, he spray painted his semi-girlfriend's Porsche Panamera. So when she got home, she had the biggest surprise of her life...

SURPRISE!!! It's temporarily ruined, but he can drop it off to Chris at JC Customz, and he can get it back to normal. It's just paint. Christopher just needs an empty warehouse to completely spray paint. He's just a frustrated artist. It did match his house though...

JC Customz revamps Chris Brown's Lamborghini Aventador

Jul 23, 2013

California's best kept secret, JC Customz, has completed another newsworthy project. To rewind a bit, JC Customz, located in Bellflower, California, is a custom car shop that's owned by Chris Castellanos. JC Customz's speciality is paint, and when I say speciality, I really do mean speciality. At the rate he's going, he'll be at guru status at no time.

I was first introduced to Chris and JC Customz's work at SEMA last year, where I fell in love with a Mercedes CLS 500 that was painted matte blue. But the way the car was painted, it looked too perfect to be paint, but it really was paint. And with his work, you always have to say "the photos doesn't do it justice" and "it looks better in person". Remember, this is coming from a brutally honest New Yorker.

Gorgeous...

Now, Chris Brown decided to revamp his Lamborghini Aventador, and he made a great decision to take it to JC Customz. Chris walks in there and tells the other Chris that he wants his Aventador to be painted just like his Nike Foamposite Fighter Jets Sneakers. From there they.... you know what? I'll let you take a look for yourself. But it looks like they succeeded.

The end result?

It looks like it was wrapped, but it wasn't. The actual pics will be in an upcoming issue of Dub Magazine, but I composed this post using pics from Chris' JC Customz page on instagram-- the only social media network that he updates often enough to keep up with his work. And honestly, I'm too impatient to wait for a feature.

P.S. I like how both Chris' outfits match the car. And two, I honestly hope JC Customz will be bringing some eye candy to SEMA.

Parking 101 By Chris Brown

Jul 21, 2011

(I had to go with the photo with Chris Brown and the great Jonathan Mannion)

Chris Brown is back in the news AGAIN, only this time, it's something slightly different. Days after the City of New York shutting down both 48th and 49th streets because of the amount of people who came to see him perform at the Today Show, Chris is in the news for his expertise in parking.

According to TMZ, Christopher's neighbors aren't too happy with him. He allows his friends to park in all of his assigned parking spots, which forces him to park his three vehicles in handicap spots. There's other reasons why his neighbors aren't thrilled to live near him, but I chose to discuss the vehicles. Enough over how wrong that is, let's talk about the cars....

Chris can be seen around LA in three vehicles: A Dodge Viper (the one by Unique Autosports that I spoke about before), Lamborghini Gallardo wrapped in that ugly fighter jet vinyl, and the fully customized Range Rover Sport Supercharged (with the Strut grille package) for the days where he doesn't want to be as recognizable.

At the very least, he parked within the lines, but I'm sure there's someone in that building who could use those spaces a little more than he does. Thus and such, I'mma need you to do better.

Recapping Episode Two of Funkmaster Flex's Full Throttle

May 17, 2011

This past Sunday was episode two of Funkmaster Flex's Full Throttle. I recapped episode one last week. Episode two had Chris Brown and Cory Gunz stopping by.

Within the first couple of minutes of the show, Chris Brown showed up to the Team Baurtwell Garage tucked away in the Bronx (*smiles*). They talked cars for a brief second, with Chris admitting his love for a particular car- the Dodge Viper. He goes on to say that beyond admiration, he wants to purchase one... and he does. (See the bottom of this post as proof, since I don't want to take away from Flex's recap).

Is it me or is Chris Brown a pretty decent rapper. He's not bad, in fact he's better than some of the guys who actually call themselves rappers. And no, I don't stan for Chris Brown, nor have I met him before.

Between the two guests, Flex found time to go to the Tuff City Tattoo Parlor on Fordham Road in the Bronx, not to get a tattoo, but to pick up something. Then he makes it back in time for the highlight (in my personal opinion), Cory Gunz's interview/freestyle/presentation of gifts.

Within the interview, Cory admitted his love for a particular muscle car, the same one that I have the exact love for: The Ford Mustang. Flex, being the generous guy he is, gave Cory the Funkmaster Flex edition Ford Mustang GT, the same one that he gave to Snoop Dogg a few months prior. There isn't any photos of Cory Gunz and the Ford Mustang, so I had to go with the shots of the one he gave Snoop.

(Obviously Cory's doesn't have the Snoop Dogg Decal on the windshield)

I wished MTV would upload the entire episode since it's no longer than 17 minutes. Either way, my complaints about the show are the standard two: the episode could stand to be a little longer (I.E. At least the standard 22 minutes). With a longer episode, they could have stretched the actual customization of said car: instead of the camera walking around the car ONCE with Flex's voiceover. Either way, I just added Cory Gunz to my list of guys to race with my Road Trip Buddy...

I'll be watching again, this Sunday.

Now, back to Chris Brown. He did get the Dodge Viper, and in fact, he brought it to Unique Autosports for Will to work his magic on it. Don't believe me?

I wished I could have done the behind the scenes photos, at least they would have looked better. Just saying...
